backstory
Adria's life was hard from the very beginning, abandoned on the street minutes after her birth. She was found in the morning, crying her little heart out. They never found her parents, but they knew she was different from other newborns. She was sent to an orphanage for the supernatural, where she lived out her childhood. Her life there was not easy, as she had no others like her to teach her how to be a vampire. She had to teach herself and learned what blood she liked and which blood made her sick. She watched as other children were adopted, but she was always left behind, the thought running through her mind that no one wanted a vampire for a child. As she grew older, she kept her head down; she knew by this time that she would never be adopted. She studied hard in school and never stayed out late. Eventually, she just aged out of the system. With nothing to her name and no home, she lived on the streets for a bit. She was tempted many times to be one of those girls who sold their bodies, but she resisted and found honest work.
Slowly, she got back onto her feet and worked odd jobs here and there. She stayed out of trouble, or as much as a vampire can stay out of trouble. She learned long ago not to drain her victims, as she didn't want the police to come after her. She found work as a bartender in Seoul and found that she liked it; she could connect to humans and other supernatural beings as she served them.Adria has never gone to find out who her parents were; she isn't mad that they abandoned her because there must have been a reason they did. But she is curious if they had more kids after her and if she has siblings. Maybe one day she will be brave enough to look and find out where she comes from.Adria has never been in a relationship or been intimate with anyone. She does know that she finds both females and males attractive. She is afraid to get close to anyone for fear they will abandon her as well, and she doesn't know if she could go through that again.
